Meet our leadership

Eric Pelfrey

Managing Partner

Mr. Pelfrey is a co-founder and managing partner at Atlas Capital Partners, responsible for the overall management of the firm.

Prior to co-founding Atlas, Eric was the co-founder and managing partner of BridgeCap Partners, a Fort Worth, Texas-based commercial real estate investment fund. Over a five-year period at BridgeCap, Eric oversaw the acquisition, management, and disposition of a nationwide portfolio of assets valued at over $350 million. Prior to BridgeCap, Eric managed a $150 million portfolio of value-add commercial real estate projects as a partner at Woodside Capital Partners, managed a nationwide portfolio of real estate-secured commercial loans and real assets as an Asset Manager at FirstCity Financial Corporation, and practiced as an Associate in the real estate and finance groups at international law firm Vinson & Elkins LLP.

Eric received graduate degrees in law and business from Duke University and an undergraduate degree in history from Brigham Young University. Prior to graduating from BYU, Eric attended the United States Naval Academy.

Prior to completing his education, Eric served a two-year, full-time church mission in Switzerland and speaks German.

Chris Carver

Partner, Director of Operations

Mr. Carver is a co-founder and partner at Atlas Capital Partners with oversight of Atlas’s portfolio of operating companies.

Prior to co-founding Atlas, Chris was the Director of Asset Management for BridgeCap Partners, a Fort Worth, Texas-based commercial real estate investment fund, where he oversaw the management of a nationwide portfolio of assets valued at over $350 million. Prior to BridgeCap, Chris spent much of his career in purchasing and logistics operating roles, including profit/loss and facilities management oversight at Standard Meat Company.

Chris holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and undergraduate degrees in International Business and Spanish from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Prior to completing his education, Chris served a two-year, full-time church mission in Uruguay and speaks Spanish.

Elliott Pelfrey

Partner, Director of Real Estate

Mr. Pelfrey is a co-founder and partner at Atlas Capital Partners and directs Atlas’s commercial real estate sourcing and asset management functions.

Prior to co-founding Atlas, Elliott was an asset manager with BridgeCap Partners, a Fort Worth, Texas-based commercial real estate investment fund, where he managed a nationwide portfolio of assets valued at over $150 million. Prior to BridgeCap, Elliott was a project manager for Mountain West Investment Corp., a multi-family residential developer in Oregon, focused on underwriting, due diligence, entitlements, and project management.

Elliott received a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Business Administration and Management, with a certificate in Finance.

Prior to completing his education, Elliott served a two-year, full-time church mission in Japan and speaks Japanese.

Joseph Pena

Director of Accounting and Information Technology

Mr. Peña leads the accounting and information technology functions at Atlas Capital Partners and is active in the operations of Atlas’s portfolio company, Feather River Cold.

Prior to Atlas, Joseph performed a similar role with BridgeCap Partners, a Fort Worth, Texas-based commercial real estate investment fund. Prior to BridgeCap, Joseph was Managing Director of Information Systems at IQ-EQ, a leading global investor services provider for institutional funds and private investors with over $750 billion in assets under administration. His focus was on the IT & Cybersecurity business providing managed services to their clients. Prior to IQ-EQ, Joseph performed a similar role for Dallas, Texas-based Blue River Partners, was an IT Manager with Precision Documents Solutions, and was a Field Service Technician for Technology Service Professionals.

Joseph studied at the Computer Education Institute and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Melanie Ryan

Staff Accountant

Ms. Ryan is a staff accountant at Atlas Capital Partners. With a keen eye for detail, she manages the accounts payable and receivable department. She works diligently to maintain the Atlas portfolio’s overall financial data, ledger entries and reports.

Prior to Atlas, Melanie was a staff accountant for BridgeCap Partners, a Fort Worth, Texas-based commercial real estate investment fund where she provided the accounting needs for multiple commercial real estate properties.

Melanie is a New Mexico native with 20 years of administrative accounting experience. She enjoys spending time with her husband, who shares a passion for travel and family values.

Lisa Trujillo

Staff Accountant

Ms. Trujillo is a staff accountant at Atlas Capital Partners where she assists with accounts payable for the firm’s operating companies. Before joining Atlas, Lisa built a successful 20-year career in banking, holding positions ranging from teller to service manager. Known for her exceptional customer service, she consistently delivered positive client experiences and built lasting relationships.

Lisa’s journey into accounting began with the alarm business she co-owned with her husband, where she discovered a passion for numbers and financial management. Today, she combines her operational expertise and attention to detail to support the financial health of Atlas’s portfolio.

Outside of work, Lisa is a dedicated grandmother and an active community volunteer. Her commitment to service has earned her the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award in recognition of her many hours of volunteer work.

Chelsea Remund

Investor Relations Associate and Office Administrator

Ms. Remund is the Office Administrator and Human Resources representative for Atlas Capital, in addition to assisting with Investor Relations functions.

Prior to Atlas, Chelsea fulfilled similar duties at BridgeCap Partners. Prior to BridgeCap, Chelsea was a successful entrepreneur and she continues to teach private art lessons in Heber Valley, Utah.

Chelsea received an undergraduate degree in General Studies with a double minor in French and English Literature from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
